Jamie Gulley joined SEIU as an organizer in 2002 and was elected President in 2012. Jamie has led some of the most important victories at SEIU HCMN including organizing campaigns that have brought in more than 30,000 new hospital, nursing home, and homecare workers–tripling the size of the union.
Jigme was born in Kalimpong, India. He joined SEIU HCMN as an organizer, and in 2007, was elected Executive Vice President. He serves members at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and Phillips Eye Institute. Jigme was the first Tibetan refugee elected as a labor union leader. He is deeply engaged with the Tibetan community and the independence movement. He has a daughter named Zenden.
Lisa Weed joined the labor movement in 2003 by organizing a union at Infinia Owatonna Nursing Home. Lisa was actively involved with SEIU HCMN as a member organizer and in October 2004 joined staff as an external organizer. Lisa has been an EVP since January 2013.
Phillip Cryan joined SEIU HCMN in 2009 and was elected EVP in 2015. He led the legislative campaign to win organizing rights for MN homecare workers and the homecare union election campaign in 2014. Phillip holds a Masters degree from UC Berkeley School of Public Policy, and he lives in St. Paul with his two children, Brodie and Flora.
